How to Use the License Request Portal

Follow the 3 steps below: generate a request file, submit it here, then apply the approved license.

Step 1 — Generate the License.req File

  1. Navigate to the path below and run the executable:
    • HiCONiS: D:\ACONIS-NX\BIN\LicenseReq.exe
    • ACONIS-DS: D:\ACONIS-DS\BIN\LicenseReq.exe
  2. When the License Request window appears, do not modify Hostname, CPU, HostID, or MAC — click "Request License". License Request window screenshot

    The License Request window — leave all fields as-is and click "Request License".

  3. Click "Ok" to close the window, then verify that License.req was created at D:\.
    • If not found at D:\, check the application folder instead:
    • HiCONiS: D:\ACONIS-NX\License.req
    • ACONIS-DS: D:\ACONIS-DS\License.req

Step 2 — Submit Your Request via This Portal

  1. Drag and drop your License.req file(s) into the upload area, or click to browse. You can upload multiple files at once to request licenses for multiple PCs in a single submission.
    • To add more files after an initial selection, drop additional files or click the upload area again — new files will be added to the list.
    • Each file must have a unique name. If multiple PCs generate a file with the same name (e.g. all named License.req), rename them before uploading (e.g. License_PC1.req, License_PC2.req). Files with duplicate names will be ignored.
  2. For each uploaded file, select the License Type(s) needed and fill in the PC Description.
  3. Fill in your Name & Affiliation, Email Address, and purpose (shared across all files).
  4. Click "Submit License Request". A reference ticket ID will be shown on screen upon success.
  5. Once approved, a download link will be sent to your email. For multi-PC submissions, the link downloads a ZIP file — extract it and copy each License_N.dat to the corresponding PC.

Step 3 — Apply the Approved License.dat File

  1. A single approval email is sent regardless of how many files were submitted. Check the email for the download link.
    • Single PC: Download License_xxxxxx.dat (xxxxxx = ticket ID).
    • Multiple PCs: Download License_xxxxxx.zip. Extract it — you will find License_1.dat, License_2.dat, … in the order the files were uploaded.
  2. Rename each .dat file to License.dat and copy it to the corresponding PC:
    • HiCONiS: D:\ACONIS-NX\License.dat
    • ACONIS-DS: D:\ACONIS-DS\License.dat

✓ Request Submitted Successfully

Your request is now pending administrator approval.
Once approved, a secure download link will be sent to your email address.
